Happy Birthday Shakespeare from some temporary Tudors

On William Shakespeare’s 450th birthday, visitors to his Birthplace had the chance to dress up as if it was still the sixteenth century.  These young people from Manchester transformed themselves into temporary Tudors and brought the garden alive with their energy,wit and enthusiasm.   It was great to meet them.

It was brilliant to bump into Lorraine Marples from Lutterworth when she visited Shakespeare’s Birthplace on the Bard’s 450th birthday.  She shares not only the great man’s birthday but also his love of words.
