We are proud to present the first blog from the Gingerbread Shakespeare Company (The GSC), who work alongside their fellow Shakespeare Aloud actors, entertaining visitors of all ages in and around the Birthplace. In honour of Valentine’s Day, two of our most versatile Gingerbread thespians assumed the roles of Shakespeare’s most famous lovers, Romeo and Juliet, to perform the scene most requested by visitors to the Birthplace – with a little bit of help from actors Jen Hodges and Rich Bunn.
